Autumn is here! Autumn is here! Even though I'm sad to see summer go, I'm excited for pumpkins, Halloween costumes, and the upcoming holiday season. Aren't you?

Let's begin...

WHAT I'M WATCHING/WHAT YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING

1. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (a Netflix Original series available October 26th. It will have ten episodes )

I love all things horror and supernatural, so I am really looking forward to this.

Welcome to the official trailer...

2. "Magnum PI" (2018, available on CBS, airs Monday nights)

Yes, Tom Selleck was iconic in the role, but this Jay Hernandez led ensemble is a delight... Especially the dobermans "Zeus" and "Apollo". LOL! Also, Jay Hernandez equals YUM.... that's right I said it.

Besides "Higgins" is now a female ex-MI6 bad ass. Don't you want to tune in for that?

3. "Shades of Blue" (available on NBC and ON DEMAND)

I'm late to the game with this Jennifer Lopez led show, but I watched the pilot and I found it intriguing. This third season is the last season, so if you want to check it out... You better get on it.

WHAT I'M WATCHING/WHAT YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING (OLD SCHOOL)

1. "The League" (seasons 1 - 7 available on Hulu)

Admittedly, I stopped watching this show after the third season, but I am now back on board to finish it out. I LOVED the first three seasons, and I thought season 4 was a bit uneven. However, my love for these incorrigible Fantasy Football playing knuckleheads hasn't gone away.

Also I REALLY love the character "Ruxin". He's AWFUL, but he fascinates me.

Here's a glimpse of the insanity...

2. "Great Expectations" (1998)

I'm one of the few who loved the re-make of this film. I saw it this past weekend, and I still find it highly entertaining and beautifully shot. Also it has a stand- out cast: Ethan Hawke, Gwyneth Paltrow, Robert DeNiro, Anne Bancroft, Chris Cooper, and Hank Azaria.

Here's a clip...

3. "The Conversation with Amanda Cadanet" (available to stream on You Tube)

This is a really fascinating little series with Amanda Cadanet interviewing ladies from all walks of celebrity life. I think Jane Fonda's and Zoe Saldana's interviews were particularly interesting.

UNTIL NEXT TIME, MY LOVELIES (MORE RECIPES, FILM, TV SHOWS, AND BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS TO COME)...
