Behind Dawn Says...

Dawn Shannon hails from Brooklyn, New York, home of the Dodgers (if only for a while) and the world's best pizza. The daughter of a Southern Anglophile and a Brooklyn Born Matisse lover, she had the great luck to be exposed to Masterpiece Theater, The Met, and Scorsese films. After a brief stint as an actress, writing beckoned, first with a novel, and then with even stronger showings with several TV scripts and screenplays.

However, she wasn't done yet. As a genuine fan of fashion, food and film, she started Dawn Says (formerly The Love) to connect with other people who love to dress up and enjoy movies, books and TV as much as she does.

Presently, she lives in Los Angeles, where she writes up a storm and eats the occasional In-N-Out Burger.
