SUMMER TIME, SUMMER READING/READING IS FUNDAMENTAL

Hey, tv is great, movies are great, books are great too. Here's a few...

30 Summer Books To Get Excited About

AND HERE ARE A FEW OF MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATIONS...

1. Christine by Stephen King

Do you love your car? Well, what if it could love you back... I mean REALLY love you to the point of obsession?

Here's the plot...

Christine is a horror novel written by Stephen King, published in 1983. It tells the story of a 1958 Plymouth Fury apparently possessed by supernatural forces.

2. "Go Ask Alice"

This is a haunting and poignant novel in diary form. A young teen who gets caught up in drugs and teen rebellion. I read it when I was a teen myself and it still haunts me.

Here's a small snippet about it..

Go Ask Alice is a 1971 fiction book about a teenage girl who develops a drug habit at age 15 and runs away from home on a journey of self-destructive escapism. Wikipedia

3. "The It Girl Series" by Cecily Von Ziegesar

I think the young adult genre is underrated and Cecily Von Ziegesar's spin off of her "Gossip Girl" series follows the life of "Jenny Humphrey" at boarding school.

UNTIL NEXT TIME, MY LOVELIES...
