Memorial Day has passed, the unofficial start of summer, and June is upon us. Just think soon enough there will be picnics, ice-cream, and seemingly endless sunshine.

I'm excited for it. Aren't you?

Now, I have some recipes for you, things to watch, and things to do. Let's begin...

WHAT I'M WATCHING/WHAT YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING

1. "Cobra Kai" (available on You Tube Red)

Anyone who loves the old school movie "The Karate Kid", I have a treat for you. The series "Cobra Kai". It's available on You Tube Red. It's ten episodes, and I suggest doing the month-long free trial of You Tube Red. You can binge watch the show if you like and decide whether or not you want to continue with You Tube Red.

"Cobra Kai" puts Johnny at the center as the "anti hero". I refuse to say any more. Here's a promo...

2. "Tremors" (1990)

An old school indie horror comedy with Fred Ward and Kevin Bacon. It's a great creature feature. Old school, but solid. Here's a trailer...

3. "Community" (2009 - 2015) (available on Hulu)

I've been revisiting some old school entertainment, along with what's fresh and new.

I use to really enjoy this show, and I never finished the series. I hope it tickles your fancy.

Here's a trailer...

4. "Won't you be my neighbor" (2018)

A documentary about Mr. Rogers, the endearing television personality who was one of the best parts of my childhood.

It's out now in theaters. Here's a trailer...
