SPRING CLEANING MADNESS

Okay, let's face it, NO ONE looks forward to spring cleaning....Well, maybe a few people do, but for the most part spring cleaning feels like the chore that it is.
I have provided a spring cleaning checklist and some cheat sheets that hopefully will help you get through it a little easier.
First....

AND A FEW CHEAT SHEETS...
This is from another helpful Buzzfeed article. Here is the link: https://www.buzzfeed.com/nataliebrown/25-incredibly-useful-spring-cleaning-cheat-sheets?utm_term=.yfMwnJJbo#.skW3d660g
Here are a few of my fave cheat sheets....
2. For jump-start motivation that you can tackle over 10 days.

3. For a colorful and fun way to break each room down into steps that are actually doable.

6. For a timed routine that will keep you motivated on a Sunday afternoon.

13. For tackling those mystery condiments in your fridge door and pantry.

16. For scrubbing off years of cooked-on grime from your favorite cookware.

Next up, you can think it's basic, but a lot of people will be tuning in to the Royal Wedding--including myself. If you are in to that sort of thing, here's a guide of what to serve whether you're throwing a party or it's just you and your boo....

AND FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO COULD CARE LESS ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING OVER-THE-POND. HERE'S A FEW SUGGESTIONS OF WHAT TO WATCH...
WHAT I'M WATCHING/WHAT YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING (a.k.a "old school shows"):
1. "McMillan and Wife"
It's an old school show --- an NBC Mystery of the week 1970's series, starring Rock Hudson and Susan Saint James. It was on for six seasons, and it is HIGHLY addictive. It's pretty impossible to find streaming. Although, it use to be available on Netflix. Can someone put a petition together to beg Netflix to put it back in to the streaming rotation?
Some episodes are available on You Tube.
I have posted the entire pilot episode "Murder by the Barrel" for you, because that's the kind of sweet lady I am. Tee-hee.
Here's the episode...
2. "Better Off Dead" (1987)
This is a classic 80's movie, and a classic John Cusack movie. Here's the premise:
Lane Meyer (John Cusack) is a teen with a peculiar family and a bizarre fixation with his girlfriend, Beth (Amanda Wyss). When Beth dumps Lane, he decides to kill himself, making bumbling attempts at suicide. Outside of his morbid endeavors, Lane spends time with his oddball buddy, Charles (Curtis Armstrong), and befriends Monique (Diane Franklin), a visiting French student. Eventually, Lane resolves to race Beth's obnoxious new beau on the ski slopes, with unexpected results.
And here's the old-school trailer...
3. "Bad Boys" (1995)
I love the pairing of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, and since they're in talks to make a THIRD Bad Boys movie (yes you read that right), I wanted to revisit the original. It's still awesome.
Here's the premise....
Miami-Dade detectives Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) blow a fuse when $100 million worth of heroin they recently confiscated is heisted from station headquarters. Suspecting it was an inside job, Internal Affairs gives them five days to track down the drugs before they shut down the narcotics division. Action meets farce when Marcus is compelled to masquerade as his partner in order to gain the trust of a call girl (Tea Leoni), a key witness in their investigation.
Here's the promo/trailer...
4. "Flirting with Disaster" (1996)
This is a stellar comedy with a stand-out cast.
Here's the premise...
Adopted as a child, new father Mel Colpin (Ben Stiller) decides he cannot name his son until he knows his birth parents, and determines to make a cross-country quest to find them. Accompanied by his wife, Nancy (Patricia Arquette), and an inept yet gorgeous adoption agent, Tina (Tea Leoni), he departs on an epic road trip that quickly devolves into a farce of mistaken identities, wrong turns, and overzealous and love-struck ATF agents (Josh Brolin, Richard Jenkins)
Here's the trailer...
UNTIL NEXT TIME, MY LOVELIES....
