The tips that stood out to me the most from this article are the following:
1. 1. For the perfect ready-to-use recipe starters, freeze fresh herbs with some olive oil. thekitchn.comDon't you hate when you buy fresh herbs for a recipe, have some left over, and slowly watch them wither and die in the fridge? No more! Take the leftover herbs and put them in an ice cube tray with olive oil. Next time you need that seasoning, you have a delicious flavor nugget ready to go. This works with fresh herbs, minced garlic, grated ginger, etc.— Stephanie Marie, Facebook

2. 3. Spread butter under the skin of your turkey to make it super brown and crispy.

3. Crack an egg into your mashed potatoes, when they're almost ready, to make them extra creamy.

4. Add mayo to your cake batters for a super moist cake. We swear, it works.

WHAT I'M WATCHING/WHAT YOU SHOULD BE WATCHING
1. The original "Twilight Zone" (available on HULU)
A brief description: "The Twilight Zone" was the brainchild of Emmy Award-winner Rod Serling, who served as host and wrote over 80 episodes of the original show's 150-plus episode run. It's a strange mix of horror, science-fiction, drama, comedy and superstition. Serling introduced each episode, and many of the black and white hours concluded with a surprise ending. Actors such as Burt Reynolds, Roddy McDowell and Robert Redford made appearances in some of the more well-known stories. First episode date: October 2, 1959.
Final episode date: June 19, 1964.
For you kiddies out there, all of those sci-fi anthology series you're so nuts about, this is the OG of sci-fi anthology series. Rod Serling was and still IS the man, and I mean that in a good way.
If you have never checked out this ground breaking series, you better, or I might wish you in to the cornfield.
Here's a snippet from a classic Twilight Zone episode, titled "A Penny for your thoughts"...
2. "Altered Carbon" (A Netflix original series debuting on Friday, February 2nd)
It stars Joel Kinnaman and James McAvoy among others.

3. "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"
Admittedly, this show is SEVERELY off-side. However, if you're okay with a gang of folks that are about as UN-PC as you can get. Check out this series, because this upcoming season might be the last for this irreverent show. I recommend the following episodes to get your feet wet. They all revolve around the doomed romance of Dennis Reynolds and Maureen Ponderosa...
"Mac Fights Gay Marriage"
(Just to be clear, I think Mac is an incredibly huge idiot, but he is an idiot that's easy to laugh at.)
Enjoy this clip from the episode...
"Dennis Gets Divorced"
Dennis soon realizes the bloom is quickly off the rose when it comes to his marriage to Maureen.
Here's a clip from the episode...
"The Maureen Ponderosa Wedding Massacre"
Maureen has found new love, but the wedding doesn't go as planned. Here's a clip...
"McPoyle vs. Ponderosa: The Trial of the Century"
The disastrous results of Maureen Ponderosa doomed second marriage are dissected at this so-called "Trial of the Century".
Here's a clip...
"Making Dennis Reynolds a Murderer"
Ah, Dennis finally snaps...or does he? Here's a promo for this episode...
Until next time, my lovelies...
