Good Evening, my lovelies, We do hope you all are having a great weekend. We here at the "House of Love" decided to stick our heads out of our Holiday Fog, because we had to find out how all of you were doing? We've been spending our time enjoying the holiday season, watching the James Bond marathon on SPIKE TV, and hanging out with Robert Redford. Did you miss us? Without further ado, let's begin… EVENING QUOTES: "You've hardly distinguished yourself, have you? You were supposed to observe Mr. Goldfinger, not borrow his girlfriend. Instead of that, Goldfinger goes off to Europe, and it's only by the grace of God, your friend Leiter, and my intervention with the British Embassy in Washington, that you're not in the custody of the Miami Beach Police!" - "Goldfinger" (1964) "Do you always cross-examine people?" "Only when they lie to me." - "Legal Eagles" (1986)- DAWNY'S 2-CENTS- This movie is a fun little romp with Debra Winger, Robert Redford, and Daryl Hannah. Winger and Redford have Hepburn/Tracy chemistry, and we here at the "House of Love" adore a great legal thriller. Next… MUSIC CORNER/SONGS THAT PUT US IN A GREAT HOLIDAY MOOD: 1. "Kool Thing" by Sonic Youth, with some help from Chuck D (They spelled it with a "k". Not me. ) 2. "Jigsaw puzzle falling into place" by Radiohead 3. "Dry the Rain" by The Beta Band 4. "Christmas in Hollis" by RUN DMC (A classic holiday song in our opinion. We love those "ill reindeer".) 5. "Shelter from the storm" by Bob Dylan 6. "Everybody's Gonna Be Happy" by The Kinks More music to come, my lovelies… RANDOM MUSINGS: That's all my lovelies, we have more Egg Nog to drink. We'll see ya' next week and have a Happy Holiday. UNTIL NEXT TIME… --
